Texas, Hold Her High Big Bend Instameet

Hey Peeps! I'm really excited to share with y'all the Texas, Hold Her High Big Bend Instameet. The team and I along with IGHouston and InstaDFW have come together to host this Texas Wide Instameet at one of our national treasures that happens to be located in our great state!

Join us for a day full of fun activities that include guided hikes, cookouts, live music and a starry night shoot. That I'm really looking for to! 

What to Expect

The ammenities for the meet include FREE on-site campsites for all who wish to camp over night Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening(29th-30th), FREE park entry.
Upon entrance to the park please inform the staff you are there for the meet to gain access. 

DAY 1
- Guided tours led by Park Rangers and staff through picturesque areas of the park for all atendees
- A cookout/dinner to fuel up after a day of exploring & shooting
- A live concert featuring Texas Based Artist
- A starry night shoot. The skies are great out there so pack a tripod! 

DAY 2
- kick off with breakfast
- A sunrise shoot
- Goodbyes

CLOTHING
Its going to be a hot couple of days y'all. Make sure to dress appropriately and pack adequately if you will be camping during the trip. There are hot springs so bring a bathing suit if you plan on venturing off. 

TRANSPORTATION & TRAVEL
We strongly encourage folks to carpool with other community members. However, we have made arangements to have a van that will be used to transport 6 folks to and from the the park, leaving from Austin. This is a free service we will be providing. 

We hope to leave on the 29th by 12PM and will be back in Austin on the 31st no later than 9PM. The space in the van is limited and will be available in a first come first serve basis. The wonderful folks at the National Park Service and Budweiser are making it possible for community members to have free access to the park and to overnight camping. This will be a great opportunity to visit Big Bend and to meet other creatives from across the state. Everyone is welcomed and please share with all your Texan peeps!
